Gone are the days when mailing a paper tax return was your only option. Today, the CRA offers a variety of ways to file, making the process faster and more convenient.

  • NETFILE: This is the most popular method. You use CRA-certified tax software to prepare and file your return electronically. It's fast, secure, and refunds are often processed within two weeks.

  • EFILE: A professional tax preparer, like an accountant, uses this service to file your return for you. This is a great option if you have a complex tax situation or prefer to have an expert handle everything.

  • Paper Filing: If you prefer the traditional route, you can still mail in a paper tax package. Just be aware that processing times are much longer.

Choosing the right method for your needs can make tax season a breeze.
