Knowing the correct tax deadlines is essential for a stress-free tax season. Filing on time helps you avoid late penalties and interest charges.

Key Dates to Remember:

  • April 30: This is the deadline to file your tax return for most Canadians. If you have a balance owing, this is also the date by which your payment is due.

  • June 15: This is the filing deadline for self-employed individuals and their spouses. However, any tax you owe must still be paid by April 30 to avoid interest.

Marking these dates in your calendar ensures you are prepared and can manage your finances with confidence.
