Before you can file, you need to gather a few key documents. The most important is your Social Insurance Number (SIN). You will also need your income slips, such as the T4 from your employer, which shows your employment income. If you are a student, you will need your T2202 form for tuition. Keeping track of these documents is crucial, so be sure to ask your employer or school for a copy if you don't receive one.
