DTC eligibility is not always indefinite. The CRA will approve you for a certain number of years, after which you will need to re-apply. If the CRA's Notice of Determination indicates an expiry date, mark it on your calendar to ensure you don't miss out on future credits. If your application is denied, don't be discouraged. You will receive a letter from the CRA explaining the reason for the denial, and you have options. You can request a formal review of your application, provide additional medical information, or file an objection with the CRA's Appeals branch.
