The Canadian tax system is based on your residency status, not your immigration status. This means you have to report all of your worldwide income for the part of the year you were a resident of Canada. After you file, you will receive a Notice of Assessment (NOA), which is a summary of your tax return. This is an important document to keep, as it will be used to register for a CRA My Account.
