Family and caregiving benefits

Benefits to help with the costs of raising children, including children with disabilities. Employment Insurance benefits such as maternity, parental and caregiving benefits and leave.

Dental benefit available for children under 12 years old

The interim Canada Dental Benefit is open for application. Eligible families earning less than $90,000 per year may apply for each eligible child receiving dental care. The child must be under 12 years old as of December 1, 2022 and not have access to a private dental insurance plan.
